SFA and Renewing the Countryside are hosting another in our ongoing workshop series, “Women Caring for the Land,” which focusus on improving conservation outreach to female farmland owners and farmers in Minnesota, either directly or through training agriculture and conservation professionals.
The next workshop is set for 8:30-11 a.m. Thurs., Sept. 26, at Stillwater Public Library, Margaret Rivers B Room, 224 3rd St N, Stillwater (3rd St entrance).
Why attend? We’ll discuss new practices that enhance and sustain soil – and other natural resources – as well as improve your bottom line. Learn strategies for talking to and working with tenant farmers and management companies, including how to incorporate conservation into lease agreements. Agriculture and natural resource professionals from various agencies will share information and resources to help you reach your goals.
