Description

Grow Delicious Stone Fruits with High Tunnels!

Come join us at Stone Creek Farm to learn about how to use high tunnels to grow quality peaches, apricots, and other stone fruits that would be challenging to grow in this short Minnesota climate.

Dan Sheild, owner and farmer, has developed unique strategies to grow some of the sweetest and juiciest fruits. He used EQIP funding to help get him started in this exciting adventure with a hoop house.

A warm invite especially to beginning farmers and new landowners, those needing interpretation and those interested in conservation resources and new to NRCS and FSA.

Event is free to attend. Registration requested. Event will follow current COVID-19 protocols. Learn more and register here.

Hmong interpretation will be provided, please let us know if you would like interpretation for any other language and we will be happy to arrange it.

Address: 20382 310th St. Shafer, MN 55074
