Finland Farms Tour
Description
Join Finland Food Chain's friendly farmers for this tour of three unique farms, ending with a pizza dinner!
Optional and free: 1:00-1:45pm - Finland Wild Rice House @ "the old school" 5168 Hefflefinger Road Finland, MN.
2-3p AgroEcology Center - Deep Winter Greenhouse production, hazelnuts and other perennials.
3:15-4:15p - Round River Farm - climate forward tree seedling, vegetable and seed production and off grid and sustainable farming power, equipment and practices.
4:30-6pm- Wolf Ridge Organic Farm - Farm to school vegetable production and designing an apprenticeship/incubator program in NE MN. Wood-fired pizza dinner.
Admission: $5 for members, $15 for nonmembers. $12 per pizza. Members must log in first to see the member price. Registration requested, walkups welcome. Note the number of pizzas you intend to purchase during registration.
