Hogs: Virtual Livestock Production Series
Description
Our winter virtual livestock production series will allow you to network with other producers who either are currently or are interested in raising the same livestock species as you. If you are struggling to find other pasture-based livestock producers raising chickens, pork, goats, sheep, or bison and want to learn more about how those specific species are raised on pasture then be sure to participate in these sessions. Each one will highlight 1-2 farmers producing the livestock species that week is highlighting. They will discuss the production model they utilize, the pros and cons of that, as well as the processing and marketing opportunities and challenges faced by that enterprise. Sessions will take place every Thursday on Zoom from 6-7:30 PM starting on January 13, 2022.
